No More Fear!
There are times in all of our lives, when we feel fear, and anxiety creep in. Let's find out how to be empowered to take authority over these feelings.

The world as it is today, can cause great fear and anxiety to rise up in us. It’s so important to guard ourselves from what we allow to come into us, by what we hear and see. There are many areas in our lives where fear and anxiety will try to overtake us, such as in the area of family, financial problems, dealing with illness, fear for our safety, the list could go on and on.
Thankfully as Christians, we have been given the tools to overcome these feelings.
If you place your faith in God, you may be surprised at how your anxious thoughts dissipate.
Let’s see what the Bible has to say about fear and anxiety.
Let’s look at Deuteronomy 31:6. The New King James Version reads like this:
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
Fear is one of the enemy’s most popular weapons that he uses against us. Worry, anxiety, and fear can overwhelm us, and try to control our every move and action.
As Christians, there are plenty of Bible verses about fear and anxiety, that can help you overcome a difficult or trying time.
The more we are filled with fear and anxiety, the less we are filled with God’s Word.
It’s really important to know God’s Word, memorize Bible verses until they become so familiar, they will begin to replace the other things in your mind that you’re battling.
Bible verses are God’s words, therefore there is power in them.
Although fear will sometimes try to come over you, it won’t have the control it had, and it won’t be as paralyzing.
I find in my own life, often times a Bible verse will pop into my mind, and give me peace in the situation that I’m in at the time.
God’s Words are “life” words, soothing to our soul, calming our spirits, and empowering us to be overcomers.
2 Timothy 1:7 in The New Living Translation says, For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline.
Philippians 4:6 in the NIV Bible says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
By knowing or reading verses about fear and anxiety, and asking God to help you overcome these areas in your life, you will be empowered to rise above them.
Let’s just end by saying a prayer together,
Lord, thank you for empowering us to be overcomers of the weapons the enemy uses to overwhelm us with. We break off all worry, fear, and anxiety that comes against us, we replace it with only the peace you can give, in our mind, body, soul and spirit. Thank you for your peace which passeth all understanding, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
